NZ Consultants is recruiting for experienced IT Projects Managers to work in Government IT Department in all Provinces on a contract basis.

The successful candidate must have a certificate/diploma/degree in Computer Systems (covering N+, MCSE, C++,N++, AN+) and a certificate in Project Management with 5-6 years actual Project Management experience in a similar position.

Requirements:

5-6 years actual Project Management experience
Must have knowledge of system design and applications

Responsibilities:

Take responsibility for all aspects of the IT projects addressing the product life cycle
Be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectivelly coordinate the activities of the team and reach project deliverables
Assemble the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of projects
Maintain an open communication channel with other senior project managers and program managers
Interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors and vendors
Make sure project standards are maintained
